Mandarin 1 Homework #29

  Dear Students and Parents, Good afternoon. Today, we had a fun and productive class! We reviewed Chinese Pinyin, characters, words, and sentences we've learned so far through group competitions and games. I kindly ask parents to help your child correct the mistakes on his/her workbooks. Next Saturday, we will have our fourth unit test, so it's important for everyone to review thoroughly and be prepared. I've attached a summary of the key points from our textbook for your reference. Please use it to help with your studying. Homework for this week: 1.Pages 80 to 84 in the textbook: "总练习". 2.Correct the errors found in workbook 1A and 1B. 3.Read the Pinyin list aloud once daily, and write it from memory twice before next week's class. 4.Pick three texts from the textbook and read them aloud twice a day . 5.Review "中文1 总结.pdf" to identify and fill in any knowledge gaps. Mandarin 1 Homework #28

  Dear parents and students, Good afternoon. Good afternoon. Today we’ve learned the remaining content of Unit 12. We reviewed the text "Spring Festival is Coming" and the pronunciation, meanings, and writing of the 12 new characters we learned last week. We also reviewed the sentences "新年真热闹。" and "新年到了。”Through group competitions, students practiced these sentence structures by expanding and replacing words. Additionally, using the vocabulary and sentence structures we've learned, and referring to page 74 of the textbook, we had dialogue exercises in groups on the topic of "New Year greetings." By learning "Celebrate the Spring Festival",  students learned six new characters (过、团、快、乐、平、安) and five new words (对联couplets, 饺子dumplings, 团圆reunion, 快乐happiness, 平安safety). Dear parents and students, Good afternoon. Today, we began our class with a small quiz to assess the familiarity of the students with Unit 11's text and new vocabulary. It helped identify areas for improvement and provided an opportunity for them to reinforce their understanding. The results of the quiz have been graded and returned to everyone. Parents, please take a moment to ask about your child's performance today and offer appropriate praise or encouragement. Our main focus today was on the content of Unit 12. By reading the text "Spring Festival is Coming" we learned the pronunciation, meanings, and writing of 12 new characters: 新、到、热、闹、穿、衣、戴、帽、祝、身、体、习. This unit introduces characters with multiple strokes, so it's important for students to carefully observe the structure of each character before writing (Is it a top-bottom structure? Left-right?
