Hi Parents and Students,


Good afternoon. Today we successfully finished Lesson 11. At the beginning of the class, we reviewed the characters, words, and text from the previous lesson. Then, students did a short dictation to check how well they remembered the new characters and words. The dictation has been marked and returned. Parents are welcome to take a look to see how your child is doing.

 

In today’s new content, we focused on practicing the sentence pattern:

"Subject + (from)... + verb + (to) + object."

Students worked in groups to create and share their own sentences, and they did a great job expressing themselves confidently.

 

We also learned how to use the adverb “ (zuì)”, which means “most” and is used before adjectives or adverbs to show the highest degree—just like the superlative form in English. To help students better understand, we practiced using “” through some fun Q&A activities in class.

 

After that, we read the text 《泉水和大海》(Spring Water and Sea) together. From this lesson, we learned four new characters:  (spring),  (sea),  (enter),  (stream). We compared these characters with the ones we learned last time and focused on how their structures and meanings relate to water. Students discovered that many characters with the “” radical are connected to water, and they showed great thinking during the comparison.

 

Homework for this week:

1. Listen to the recordings and read along with all the content in Lesson 11.

2. Try your best to memorize the texts《江河》and《泉水和大海》;

3. Complete the characters writing practice for Lesson 11.(see attachment). Please pay attention to stroke order and the correct structure of each character.

 

Next class, we will begin Lesson 12, and I encouraged my students to preview the texts of the new lesson.

家长朋友们、同学们,

下午好。今天我们顺利完成了第11课的学习。课程开始,我们先复习了上一节课学过的课文内容和生字词。随后,通过课文的默写检测了大家对生字词的掌握情况。默写练习已经批改并发还,请家长朋友们留意查阅,了解孩子的学习情况。

在新的学习内容中,我们重点练习了句型主语 + ……+ 动词 +  + 宾语。同学们积极参与小组对话练习,勇敢表达自己的句子。我们还学习了副词的用法,了解到通常用在形容词或副词前,表示程度达到最高,相当于英文中的最高级表达。我们进行了一些有趣的问答练习帮助孩子们更好地理解和应用。

接着,我们朗读了课文《泉水和大海》,并通过课文认识了四个新的汉字:泉、海、进、溪。在识字环节中,我们将这些新字与上节课学过的相关汉字进行对比,重点观察了这些与相关的字形特点和含义。孩子们通过比较分析,进一步加深了对偏旁部首是的字多与水有这一规律的理解。


本周课后练习:

1. 听录音,跟读第11课所有内容;

2. 鼓励背诵课文《江河》和《泉水和大海》;

3. 完成第11课汉字书写练习(见附件),请注意笔顺和字形规范。

 

下节课我们会开始第12课的学习,鼓励孩子们提前预习课文内容
