 Hi Parents and Students,


Good afternoon! Today, we completed the remaining content of Lesson 5. Key activities included:
1.Noun substitution practice with the sentence "妈妈买了面包" to enhance vocabulary flexibility.
2.Practicing birthday greetings in Chinese through dialogues.
3.Learning and using the sentence structure "Person + 买了 + Object。" with free talk around the theme of "shopping."

We also learned eight new Chinese characters: 加 (add), 横 (horizontal stroke), 变 (change), 成 (become/grown/succeed), 干 (dry), 坏 (bad), 帅 (handsome), 环 (ring). Students explored how adding strokes to basic characters (like 一, 十, 土, 口) can form new characters through a fun competition.

During the lesson, we also reviewed pinyin. I noticed some students confused the initials zh (as in知) and j (as in鸡). Please review the pronunciation of these initials at home.

After class, please complete the following exercises:
1.Listen and repeat all of Lesson 5 content (P32-38).
2.Complete the character writing exercises for Lesson 5 (sent via email).
3.Finish any unfinished homework from last week.

Next time, we will begin Lesson 6. If time allows, students are encouraged to preview the lesson to develop good study habits.

下午好!今天我们学习了第5课剩余的内容。包括对句子“妈妈买了面包。”进行不同名词的替换练习。通过对话练习,我们学习了如何用中文说生日祝福,并且练习了“人+买了+东西”这个句型。之后我们围绕“买东西”这个主题,同学们自由发挥,进行了问答。这节课我们还学习了了八个新的生字,分别为:加、横、变、成、干、坏、帅、环。通过学习“加横歌”,同学们了解了,很多汉字通过添加不通的笔画可以变成一个新的汉字。我们通过比赛,让同学们尝试分别给“一”、“十”、“土”、“口”添加不同的笔画,使它们变成另外一个汉字。每位同学都能积极参与练习和游戏,非常棒!
在学习汉字时,我们也复习了拼音。我发现同学们对声母zh(知)和j(鸡)有所混淆,请课后重新复习汉语拼音声母的读音。

课后请完成以下练习:
1.听录音,跟读第5课全部内容(P32-38);
2.完成第5课汉字书写练习(见邮件附件);
3.继续完成上周未写完的作业。


下次上课我们会学习第6课的内容。同学们如果有时间可以自己提前预习,培养好的学习习惯。
